SUMMARY:REGISTRATION CLOSED -- NABA Butterfly Count
DESCRIPTION:Registration has CLOSED for this event. If  you are missing out this time\, please look out for it around this time next year! \nIf you would like to have a rewarding experience\, help contribute to local and national research efforts\, and have the opportunity to learn about butterflies\, then join us for this special day. Tracking species of butterflies can be very educational\, as well as enjoyable. \nOn Saturday\, July 13th\, we will be participating in the North American Butterfly Association Annual Butterfly Count. Beginners are welcome\, as well as seasoned butterfly watchers. The Count will run from 10am to 2pm\, and sign-up is required. There is a $3 NABA fee for all participants that is donated to the NABA organization. Robert Mercer will be leading the portion of this Count that will take place at Silver Lake Nature Center. \nPlease register by scrolling down\, calling 215-785-1177\, or by stopping into the SLNC Visitors’ Building. The $3 payment to NABA will be accepted at the program. Thank you.
