SUMMARY:SLNC Mini BioBlitz
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Mini BioBlitz on Saturday\, June 28\, 2025\, from 9 am to 12 pm. We’ll meet inside the SLNC Visitors’ Center for a quick orientation and workshop on using iNaturalist\, and then head out on the Trails to observe as many species as possible. \nIf you can find a wild animal or plant and take a picture of it\, you can participate as a bioblitz observer! A bioblitz is a fun\, communal effort to record as many species within a designated location and time period as possible\, providing us with an understanding of biodiversity at SLNC. We’ll be recording observations for all organisms – insects\, birds\, plants\, reptiles\, mushrooms… all the nature we can find!
