Birding Brigantine-Forsythe National Wildlife Reserve & Refuge. Mary Jane Mannherz, leader. Meet at SLNC at 7:30am OR meet at Cloverdale Farm County Park at 9am; 34 Cloverdale Rd, Barnegat, NJ, to discover late migrants and resident birds in this lovely, former cranberry bog and farmhouse area. We will then travel south, discovering the hidden coastal areas of Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Stops will include: Eno’s Pond, Cedar Run Dock Road, West Creek Dock Road, Scott’s Landing, and more, ending our day at the Forsythe Visitor’s Center by late afternoon. Pack a lunch & snacks, then join us for dinner at a local restaurant. (Specific stops may change, depending upon the weather.)
