Dear Friend of SLNC,
It’s hard to believe that we will be celebrating 10 years since we cut the ribbon (actually, we cut a vine!) on the Earthship at Silver Lake Nature Center! Over the past ten years, it has hosted numerous celebrations of weddings, birthday parties, educational events, field trips, tours, and the Nature Book Club. On September 13th, 2025, we will be hosting an Anniversary Celebration Fundraiser from 12pm to 4pm. This will be a family-friendly event with speakers, entertainment, games, & food. Families and Individuals are ALL welcome!!
This event will not only serve as our Anniversary Celebration but also as a Fundraiser to help us continue to fulfill our Mission Statement: “The Silver Lake Nature Center inspires connections with Nature for people of all ages, interests, and abilities through education, recreation, preservation, research, and advocacy.”
We are hoping you will join in our Celebration by not only attending, but by also becoming a Sponsor in our Program Book. This special publication will be distributed at the event and will also be available at the SLNC Visitors’ Center through September. Additionally, your company will be listed on our website and social media as one of our generous Sponsors. This opportunity is also open to individuals who would like to include a message in our Program Book!
