Join us for a guided Winter Invasive Plant Identification Walk, where we’ll explore Nature Center grounds to identify and learn about invasive plant species that persist through the winter months. This walk is designed for nature enthusiasts, and anyone interested in understanding the impact of invasive plants and how to manage them effectively.
What to Expect:
- Educational Insights: Discover the characteristics of common winter invasive plants and learn how to distinguish them from native species, even when they are in their winter dormancy.
- Hands-On Identification: Experience practical identification techniques and learn to recognize these plants by their leaves, stems, berries, and other winter features.
