It’s Party Time! You’re Invited to Celebrate at Silver Lake Nature Center!
A two-hour party includes: one theme-related party craft, indoor activities in case of bad weather, nature walk with theme-related activities, use of auditorium/pavilion, tables/chairs, kitchen, & restrooms. Party also includes a 1/2 hour for setup and a 1/2 hour for cleanup (in addition to the two-hour timeslot).
Fees: Member – $15/child; Non-member- $20/child. Fee includes one free adult per child.
Minimum # of Participants: 12

Explore his Water Kingdom,
Hop, jump, and have some fun,
This party will be “ribit”ing for everyone.
Insect hunt fun,
Meet them as they,
Fly, wiggle, or run.
Damsels and Dragons
Explore the Water Kingdom
With dip net and pan in hand
Meet the citizens of “pond land”
Dinosaurs & Cousins:
Hunt for dinosaur homes, Discover their tracks or bones Meet their reptilian relatives.
Tracks and Scat
Animals are there even if you do not see
A detective is what you will be
You’ll hunt for clues to see who’s there
Find their tracks, scat, or a piece of hair
Parties for Older Children and Grown Ups Too!
Night Hike Party
Night time creatures are the Themes. Bats, Frogs, or Owls & their “Screams!” With a campfire & a marshmallow roast, this is the party of which they’ll boast. (This party is for children turning 6 years old or older.)
